After
being owned by domestic cats for twenty years of my life, one of my
favorite cats passed away - a 17 year old orange and white
tabby. Thinking that I had room for one more cat, both in my heart and
in my home, I set out to replace him with an Ocicat.
An appointment was made with Anita
Vigara to see what she had available, and immediately fell in love
with another breed - the Bengal. One became two; two became three, and
within a year I was breeding Bengals. My breeding program is very
selective. Females are bred twice a year, only if they are in optimum
health and at a proper weight. My goal is to produce kittens that will
fit into any family, breeding program or show setting. All of our
kittens are raise underfoot amidst people, other cats, and our big, friendly
Rottie, who helps in the socialization process.
All of our kittens are
vet-checked and vaccinated before they are placed in their new homes.
We are always at your disposal, should you have any questions or
concerns about your new bundle of fur after it leaves our
"nest", and consider our clients to be
"extended" members of our family. Kittens are an intricate
part of the family, and must be treated as such. Nothing less than a
lifetime commitment is expected from our potential kitten owners.
Bengal kittens are active and curious - always willing to be in the
middle of whatever it is you are doing, so a house full of fragile
nic-nacs may not be best.
Chausie
Breeding Program
Our wildest dreams
are yet to be fulfilled! We are waiting for our prize F1 Queen
Wildkatz Moonlight Madness, a silver-tip, to decide she is ready to be
a mother. We have great hopes that our F2 Chausie boy, Wildkatz
Moonlight Magic, will be fertile. If this is the case, we will be able
to offer awesome Chausie kittens by the end of this year.
If you are interested in learning more about available kittens and
upcoming litters, please feel free to contact us by e-mail or
telephone. Please specify if you are interested in our Bengals or our
Chausies. We will be delighted to assist you in making an educated
decision about whether a Lawnton St. Mews Bengal or Chausie kitten is
a good match for you and your family.
We look forward to hearing from you!
